Vision

Our vision for Canada is… healthy space whereby kids and adults alike can enjoy and benefit from a sustainable environment. In our project we look to promote liveability around our school community by promoting the growth of green spaces through the planting of trees and flower beds.

Action

The Eco-Team at our school commits ourself to planting at least 10 native tree species in front of our school in the year 2018/2019, as well as plant a variety of flowers in both the student courtyard and teacher courtyard where all members of the school community can witness and enjoy. Our project will hope to grow into establishing a green house where we can grow small scale fruits and vegetables in order to promote a sustainable system for current programs running out of our school like the breakfast club, and cooking programs.
