Vision

Our vision for Canada is reducing our energy consumption. This is an important issue, as we feel that excessive energy use is contributing to Global warming. We want to reduce our energy consumption at school to do our part to help the Earth.

Action

Our school purchased Energy metres to measure the Energy output of school appliances. Our EcoTeam looked at how much energy is used and brainstormed ways that we could reduce our energy consumption. We then brainstormed ways that we could do this. Students monitored energy use in the classroom by checking classrooms at break to ensure that lights and monitors were turned off.
