Vision

Our vision for Canada is… one where everyone has access to healthy, locally grown produce, and can produce food of their very own. The Greenhouse will be operated by students, and produce food to supplement our Farm to Cafeteria salad bar program.

Action

Students have created a committee that has researched greenhouse designed, made proposals, and ultimately will help in the construction of the structure itself. The EcoLeague grant helped us to achieve our goal by providing funds for raw materials, but the remainder of the money required for plants and other materials was fundraised by the students themselves.
