Vision

Our grade 10 students created their own garden at our school site. They learned about seeds, soil and plant life. They erected an 11′ x 13′ garden which included vegetables, fruit and flowers. They also created a pumpkin patch for our school. In the fall, they will harvest their garden and share with the school!

Action

Students began the seeds in April. They tended the growing plants over the month of May. They established their site for their garden. Students prepared the ground by rototilling and adding the proper soil and fertlizer. They planted their young plants. Once this was done, they fenced the garden. Since then, they have been taking care of the garden by watering and weeding.
