Vision

Our vision for Canada is… One where the youth are connected to the environment and outdoor classroom.

Action

Our students have constructed an ice-fishing/warm-up shack to be used for the many projects that we are becoming involved with as well as ice-fishing. By utilizing the shack at the various sites our students will be able to access more activities in the outdoors and as a result learn more about environmental sustainability and cultural traditions.

Reflection & Celebration

The design of the shack was our main challenge, as we attempted to keep it as simple and multifaceted as possible. The shack is to be used as storage, a staging area for project equipment and a warming shelter.
