Vision

By comparing eight chemical characteristics of four different creeks and the flora and fauna of these creeks, we hope to establish a negative link between biodiversity and the chemical pollution of waterways.

Action

Our Biology class visited 4 creeks in early June and tested the creeks for coliform bacteria, nitrate/nitrite levels, lead, pesticides, hardness, chlorine, and alkalinity. We also identified as many freshwater invertebrates as we could.
