Vision

Our vision for Canada is… for people to work together to set and achieve small goals that turn into bigger goals and make our local communities, and country, a better place to live in.

Action

On Friday, May 18th, we have planned to redo the front flower bed at our school. It is currently overgrown and unsightly. We have purchased a variety of native plants from the Royal Botanical Garden sale and have members of the staff and parent community bringing in flower donations as well. We also had each classroom ‘adopt’ a plant to care for since we bought them in late April and couldn’t plant until mid-May. We plan to work together to make our school a better place. We hope that our students can educate our parent community on the value of gardening with native species (they require less water and have already adapted to our climate and they provide habitats and food for local animals, insects and birds).
