Castlebridge’s Waste Less Project

Our Action Team attended LSF’s Youth Leadership Forum. We learned about sustainability topics and skills such as compost and pollinators, which made us interested in pursuing an Action Project about the issues of people putting their waste into the wrong bin. This is important to us/our school/our community as the plastic and other wastes are ending up in our waters, affecting other animals and organisms.

To fix these issues, some actions we could take are try to be aware of where our trash is going. But first, we’ll need to talk to our eco-teacher and principal and learn more about how to dispose of our waste properly. We hope that by the end for the school year, we will have a clean and eco-friendly school and local community.
