Our vision is to ensure people in our community do not go hungry.

Action

Purchase of a grow tower to support our community with healthy, sustainable food choices and to build a connection to the land through plants. We are beginning to deepen our connection to our local space by understand the plants and all the living and non living things that rely on them in our community.

Reflection & Celebration

The grow tower will be used to support a number of initiatives. It will provide hands on learning throughout the year to K-8 classes through Science, Math. Literacy, and more. As well it will allow us to learn about sustainable living, provide healthy options to some of our community. As well, we can use it to grow seedlings to help regenerate a forest which we are working to restore.
