Vision

The Courtyard Project aims to create a greenspace at Otetiskewin Kiskinwamahtowekamik (O.K.) School that could be used daily by students and staff to get outside, play, learn and enjoy the local environment.

Action

This year we created growing kits and distributed them to the classrooms at our school, so that they could start growing vegetables, herbs and flowers. We then transplanted the plants into the greenhouse and raised beds around our school to grow food for the community.
