Vision

To clean up our county and create awareness about the impact of garbage on climate change and the importance of reducing our carbon emissions through the 3 R’s reducing, recycling and reusing.

Action

We are creating awareness by exploring our environment in our neighborhoods and documenting the litter and illegal dumping sites that we find. From there, we clean up what we are able to and report bigger scale dump sites to the local waste management company. We will educate our school, families and neighbors about the impact of garbage on climate change through our documented efforts via a video presentation that can be shared by email and social media.

Reflection & Celebration

The more we look for garbage in strange places, the more we find.

We have noticed that old tires are found in all kinds of places in our environment and that incorrect disposal of tires in particular is a common problem.

As we aim to create awareness in others, we learn more about the issues ourselves.
