Vision

Deer populations in the area are increasing rapidly and coming into town to forage in yards and green spaces. We are trying to see if we can identify changes in fawn recruitment, sex ratios, population density and general deer health. Students will devise a deer management plan with this information.

Action

We would like to present our results to town council to help them manage this relatively new deer issue. We would also like to recommend management ideas that would try and keep a balance between urban wildlife, property damage and road safety issues.
