Vision

To build raised garden beds and grow vegetables for salsa and other foods. To learn the skills to grow “from the seed to the table”.

Action

Early April tomatoes we planted indoors under a grow light. The Environmental or E Club took care of them. Third week of April, peppers were planted indoors under a grow light and taken care of by the E Club. Wood was purchased and compost and topsoil were purchased to make raised garden beds. The seedlings will not be able to be planted outside until mid June. Other vegetables will also be planted.

Reflection & Celebration

The goal is to make salsa for the whole school as well as make other food items to share with the school.
