Eco Garden

Vision

Students wanted to beautify our space and promote biodiversity. They also wanted to grow food for the food school to use.

Action

Our Eco Club built a raised garden bed. We worked with the construction team at our school to cut the wood, and everything was assembled on site by students. We planted native perennials to promote biological diversity and pollination. We also planted some vegetables and herbs to be used by our Food School cooking classes. This collective project brought together several groups of students and will continue to bring joy to the student body aesthetically and nutritionally as the years go on.
