Vision

Our vision was to increase the space in which food for humans and pollinators can be grown, harvest and shared in our community.

Action

École Provencher decided to expand their current gardens and add 5 new garden beds so as to be able to grow flowers to attract pollinators to our yard. Students helped by starting plants that we will later transplant into the garden. We partnered with a local high school in our division who made the garden beds for our school.

Reflection & Celebration

The community will share the responsibility of tending to the garden over the summer and the harvest will be shared with students in the fall.
