Vision

To engage students in restoring the ecological balance of our school grounds by planting various native plant species, and beginning to create an appealing space for teachers to use for outdoor education across curriculum areas.

Action

We researched appropriate plants for the area, bought and collected seeds, bought plants, weeded garden beds, removed invasive species, designed plant placement, and are planting our school grounds. We fertilized our seedlings with vermi-compost and will be creating educational material about the plants and biodiversity for our students to use in various classes. We also had bulbs donated and we planted those for a beautification project in the front of our school.
