Vision

My Kindergarten class walks to a local park each week to spend an hour exploring and playing in the forest. We call it going to Forest School. Along the way we pass by a leash free dog park. We noticed a large banner asking for funds to buy trees for the dog park. The leash free zone is a large open grassy field and the dogs need some shade.

Action

One thing we do at Forest School is take lots of pictures. We also like photographer, Andy Goldsworthy’s style and often place natural found materials into artistic formations. We decided to use some of our photos to create blank notecards. We created 8 different designs for cards and sold them to our school community. We raised $400 to purchase trees which we have been invited to plant next week!
