Vision

Our school has a naturalized area that was unattended and left to collect garbage and debris. Our students were concerned that the neighbors would not appreciate the potential of this area to be naturalized and would ask the school board to mow it and not leave an area for pollinators.

Action

The students took many hours and care to clean and prepare the area to be preserved and protected as a remaining natural area on our school property. The used many of the tools provided and have established a Garden Club that they will continue to be a part of in creating more nature areas on our porperty.

Reflection & Celebration

We are hosting a Youth Forum on May 4th called “May the EcoForce Be With You” were they will be showcasing their work to 2 other schools and community partners.
