Glenwood Garden Project
Vision
Glenwood School hopes to educate all of our students on the importance of sustainability and the impact it has on climate change. We want students to have the skills to grow their own food and understand the importance of taking care of the planet.
Action
Glenwood School in partnership with Glenwood C.C. planted 95 strawberry plants along with other fruits and vegetables. Students were very aware of how the cost of food continues to increase and many families don’t have access to healthy food. The food from the gardens will be harvested and distributed to our students who need it the most.
Reflection & Celebration
We hope to celebrate and reflect on this project once all the fruits and vegetables are harvested.
