Vision

Being able to make our community aware of the change we can make regardless of how small it may seem. Every step from someone can make a difference! Together, all those steps turn into a big change.

Action

As a classroom we set out goals in order to teach ourselves as well as the other classes in our school how to be more aware of how our footprint effects the planet. We created houses with more sustainable and energy efficient resources that we then presented to other students in the school. We planted veggies and air filtering plants in our classroom as well as flowers around the school to support pollinators.

Reflection & Celebration

Our students were over the moon with the difference they made in our school. They were conscious about leaving lights or devices on while we weren’t using it. Even preferring natural light from our windows at times to be as conservative as possible! Being able to grow our own veggies and plants felt like a big achievement and very worth it!
