Vision

Our vision for Canada is… to recognize that people all over the world has the same basic needs and understand the importance of conserving and restoring our natural resources.

Action

For our action we have outdoor raised flower beds (to attract and promote urban wildlife), community gardens (to feed/provided healthy snack to our nursery and kindergarten programs. We allow students and families access to space and opportunities to grow their own healthy food). We plan to detoxification of the south end of the playground (phytoremediation on our brownfield future greenspace) and have native grasses to surround the outdoor classroom ( to attract and promote urban wildlife, connect students and staff to nature. We also have litter free lunches and a little free library ( reduce our footprint on local landfill, while reducing our annual school budget for waste removal)
