Vision

We have been gradually improving out green spaces outside our school building. By doing this, our students, teachers and community become more involved in the process of caring for our environment and enjoying being a part of improvements.

Action

Students researched perennials that will grow in the various conditions in front of our school. The grade 3/4s worked with their grade 1/2 buddies to plant the perennials. The hope is these plants will be cared for and in time can be divided and planted in other areas of the school and community.

Our grade 1/2 and 3/4 teachers are committed to tending to the perennial gardens that they created.
