Vision

We wanted to prepare for spring by growing some seedlings in the winter months.

Action

So we received funding for grow lights and a greenhouse and we grew many vegetables. We also made our own seedling pots out of newspaper with a wooden pot maker.

Reflection & Celebration

It was a good experience, we had a lot to learn and some of our seedlings were lost in the process. Later when we planted them, they didn’t all survive, but we will have better luck next year by applying everything we learned. We grew some sprouts, and the students were able to taste many of them for the first time and enjoyed the process.
