Vision

We are looking to model sustainable schoolyards for our children with gardens, rain collection, native species, and wild play spaces.

Action

Over the past two years, we have built a mud kitchen, installed 4 rain barrels, built 4 new garden beds, and created 2 outdoor classrooms. These have encouraged nature-based play and learning for our students as well as contributed to a healthier playground for both children and the more-than-human world.

Reflection & Celebration

We are so happy with the progress we have made and continue to be grateful for the support of Learning for a Sustainable Future! We seriously could not do it without the help of the grants. Thank you! Our school is transitioning to nature-based learning for our students and we are incredibly happy to watch our schoolyard transform.
