Hands to Work Hearts to God
A continuation of our Field To Table School Gardening and Cooking program wherein we teach students urban agriculture methods and then use the produce in our cooking programs to create healthy meals.
We added a pumpkin patch to our courtyard raised garden bed and used the money for seeds and soil.
Reflection & Celebration
Over 200 students were involved in the growing, prepping, planting and the maintaining of our garden from seed in science, to turning and adding to the soil in Geo, to planting, watering and weeding.
