Vision

The creation and implementation of a school-based, student-run hydroponic system for growing greens. Students designed a hydroponic system, built it and will install in a classroom.

Action

The action is to grow greens at the school hydroponically. These greens can be used in our food studies program or to donate to our local food bank. The idea is to see if this system is viable at are school. If successful we may expand the system.

Reflection & Celebration

Building the system was more difficult than we thought. We learnt how to use certain tools and how to adapt our strategies. We learnt about budgeting. We are celebrating the completion of the structure. We look forward to planting the seeds.
