Vision

Our vision for Canada is to promote gardening and eating locally in order to reduce carbon emissions and improve our local economy.

Action

On November 7, 2016 our action team participated in LSF’s Youth Leadership Forum in Winnipeg where we attended workshops and learned about indigenous lands and peoples, watersheds, the four pillars of sustainability, climate change, green justice, eco-focused projects, and more!

We’re excited to take on an action project expanding the gardening initiatives at our school. We want to fundraise and work our way up to a greenhouse! We also want to promote local and healthy eating in our community. We hope to get many different school clubs on board, as well as the school, our local community, and businesses/sponsors.
