Kinder Garden
Vision
Our vision is to teach students about nature and its significance to us by restoring garden beds with them. Additionally, to teach learners on the reasons for saving the Earth, safeguarding nature, and conserving water.
We are also developing a food garden to educate our students about food sovereignty.
Action
We planted 127 native species such as black-eyed Susan, false sunflower, wild geranium, and others. Students are also cultivating tomato basil, strawberries, lettuce, and more. In order to prepare the beds, students assisted in mixing soil with cow manure and applied mulch after planting. Kindergarten classes now take turns to water the plants whenever necessary.
Reflection & Celebration
Plants are growing and we have students playing role of plant protectors.
