Vision

Our vision for Canada is… for Nestle to leave our water supply alone.

Action

On October 26th our action team participated in the EcoLeague Youth Forum in Milton where we attended workshops and learned Nestle’s usage of water, how to conduct food waste audits, the Great Gulp, the Impact of Invasive Species, and plastic bags usage. We are going to explore projects about starting a petition against Nestle, plastic bag challenges, food waste audits, helping animals with saving their habitats, adding solar panels on our school roofs (by raising money or from grants). We still need to learn more about the Nestle water contact, and how to create a proper petition. We are going to ask for support from our teachers, parent volunteers, other students and from Mme Bascevan! Stay tuned for updates on our project!
