Legacy Garden

Our school is the oldest in Bradford. In 2003, we moved into a new building. The Grade 8 graduating class were the first JK class to open the building. To recognize this, the students wanted to plant a pollinator garden. From there we decided that we will plant a pollinator garden each year as part of the Grade 8 graduating class legacy at Fred C Cook PS.

We prepared the area, researched plants, had local community experts talk to us about the best choice of plants, and did the work of creating the garden and planting.
