MBS birds pollinator

Vision

We believe in protecting ecosystems. To help in our own way, we have decided to produce feeders for a wide variety of birds. Their presence will increase pollination in the areas where they are installed. In addition, we hope to have an impact on the region’s genetic diversity.

Action

The students carried out the construction of 14 different bird feeders after researching their anatomical characteristics and feeding habits. The material used was mostly recycled, with wood scraps from previous projects and remaining protective dyes. This project enabled the students to socialize, communicate with confidence, by sharing ideas and helping each other within the group.

Reflection & Celebration

Thanks to this project, the students were able to understand the importance of protecting the ecosystems that surround us. They improved their teamwork and familiarized themselves with the techniques and tools at their disposal. They realized that it’s not always necessary to buy new items, and that anything is possible with a little imagination and resourcefulness. This project was a great opportunity to put into practice the various skills and areas of knowledge they had already mastered as part of their science course. Great pride was felt throughout.
