Metropolitan Andrei School Greening Project
Vision
We wanted to create a school garden that involved the community. We were also concerned about the declining butterfly population so we decided to plant milkweed and other species to attract them.
Action
Students were involved with planning, and planting the gardens. They worked hard with community partners such as the Credit Valley Horticultural Society to prepare the garden and to work on our two school gardens.
