To reduce our school carbon footprint with clean charging energy.

Action

Ordered mini solar panels for charging tablets, phones, cameras, fitness devices and other personal electronic devices through Biolite Energy. We received 4 portable solar panels that are 5W and 1 – 10W battery portable solar panel. These are versatile and portable for school trips, outdoor classroom activities, etc.

Reflection & Celebration

After receiving the panels, the MPI Green Team have set them up and have begun testing them by charging devices. Students are very excited by this clean energy and the ability to charge their devices within 2.5 hours.
