Vision

We envision a space where families can learn more about native, edible, and wildlife-friendly plants. We want to partner with a local community centre to engage our students in working with parents and children from the community.

Action

Our project focused on the installation of a wildlife garden and bench in a local community centre. The centre runs programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families. The plants we installed are not only wildlife-friendly, they are friendly to small children and the plants’ leaves and berries are edible. We also installed a bench so that people can enjoy the garden and adjacent farm and playground spaces.
