We are aiming to reduce our environmental impact one small step at a time.

Action

We purchased new L.E.D. grow lights to replace the old fluorescent lights to reduce our environmental impacts through a reduction of electrical usage and reduction of Mercury filled florescent bulbs.

Reflection & Celebration

We were able to grow enough leafy greens for several harvests that allowed the food and nutrition classes to cook stir-fry’s as well as our life skills classes to cook with.
