New Sarum: Healthy School Garden
Our Action Team attended LSF’s Youth Leadership Forum. We learned about sustainability topics and skills such as replanting trees, healthy eating, and composting, which made us interested in pursuing an Action Project on healthy eating. This is important to us/our school/our community because we can teach our peers more about the importance of healthy eating and how to grow your own food.
To fix these issues, some actions we could take are learning more about healthy and local food, growing, and sustaining a garden, but first we’ll need to talk to our principal, other classes, and apply to EcoLeague for funding. We hope that by the end of this year, we will have a healthy garden that can sustain for future grades!
