Reflection & Celebration

It was a hugely successful day despite a full day of rain. The kids wore garbage bags to try to keep dry. We vastly underestimated how much mulch we would need for the project. We learned we need to order a truck of dirt $1000 with delivery and a truck full of mulch $1400. So hopefully we can find the funds to do this so we can expand the existing garden. We are quite amazed at how hard the students worked to build the mounds by hand. It was a great day of learning!
