Vision

In 20 years, students and community members will be able to pick fresh fruit to eat and can. Fruit will be provided for everyone at no cost, providing local, healthy nutrition to all the students at CMPS.

Action

Students planted fruit trees in the school yard. With funding from LSF and donations in memory of a student, we were able to plant over 50 fruit and nut trees in our school yard.

Reflection & Celebration

A newsletter went home to share the story with families. Students worked hard planting for 2 days and then celebrated by watching a movie and enjoying Freezies.
