Vision

Our students will lead more eco-oriented projects and learn more about the environment and the importance of care for the planet. They will also learn about the dangers affecting the environment and why it is important to prevent unsustainable actions that may cause damage to the environment.

Action

Duke of Connaught P. S. is an inner city school with a large student population including French programs. The garden in which we started our project is important eco-work for us as students because we learned many new skills in the process of building it. It is also important to our school because it brings nature closer to the school community. Planting is a great way to enhance the environment around the neighborhood and this is what we achieved in doing this project.
