Vision

Our vision for Canada is to see people taking part in projects that contribute to the sustainability of our amazing country. This is important to us/our school community because we love Canada and we think that all Canadians should take an interest in protecting our natural resources. Through our actions, we can all inspire and motivate one another to be more sustainable!

Action

Based on attending the EcoLeague Youth Forum on October 26, 2017, we learned about sustainability topics and skills such as how ecosystems work and how to manage water sustainably. To fix these issues, some actions we could take are doing a battery blitz, collecting pop tabs, and brainstorming even more actions that will lead to conserving resources. We hope that by the end of the school year, we will have spoken to our peers, teachers, and principal about how to make a big difference in our community, and then follow up and actually DO these actions!
