Vision

Our vision for Canada is… One where humans and our environment can live together harmoniously while we can sustain an economy and prosperity for all. We wanted to give back to nature and give it some more space to return on our school grounds.

Action

Our pollinator garden, will be a shade forest eventually, while native pollinator species are filling in the spaces between native broadleaf and needle trees. We are revitalizing the natural landscape, reducing our carbon footprint, and increasing biodiversity right on our school ground. Over 10% of our students planted trees and shrubs, and they are all stakeholders now.

Reflection & Celebration

This is phase one of our school ground planting, and we will be watching the growth of pollinator species and classes will be engaged in their learning outdoors.
