Vision

Our visions is to have a school garden that can support the school in curriculum and community in sustainable gardening.

Action

Students researched a variety of perennials and annuals that would support a pollinator garden, As well as plants that we would be able to harvest seeds from, allowing the school to distribute seeds to families who wanted to start a garden in their yards. We went to a greenhouse and purchased the plants, refurbished the garden boxes in our outdoor classroom space that had been overrun with weeds from the last few years of inaction. And we will be planting this week as the risk of frost seems to be over.
