Vision

We plan to start a small school garden using above ground garden boxes. Students will be able to plant, grow and harvest food. This will allow them to learn about where food comes from and what is involved in growing food.

Action

Build above ground planter boxes. Start seeds in the classroom and then replant in the outdoor boxes, where students will care for plants until food may be harvested.

Reflection & Celebration

Although not yet fully completed, students have been invovled in building garden boxes and starign seedlings. Students are very excited to transfer their seedlings and begin outdoor growing in the spring.
