Vision

Our vision is to teach our students about sustainable food production by growing vegetables and flowers in our newly built school gardens. We hope to instill a passion for food production that will carry over into the everyday lives of our students.

Action

Our Woods and Construction classes have built the raised garden beds, and our Environmental Design and Global Issues classes have started seeds and planted vegetables and flowers in the gardens. In the fall, we will harvest the vegetables and use them in our Foods classes.

Reflection & Celebration

So far, the project is going very well. We have just completed the raised garden beds and planted some vegetables and flowers, and are eagerly awaiting for them to grow. We are excited to carry on with the project for many years to come.
