Vision

Our vision is to beautify our school for both children and bugs and birds

Action

We planted native flowers along two school walls that frequently experienced flooding in the past. We also planted flowers under some trees that previously had river rocks there.

Students also planted the seeds go grow many our seedlings and cared for them until they were ready to be transplanted.

Reflection & Celebration

It was wonderful to see the children taking ownership of beautifying their school yard space. We also talked a lot about the importance of providing flowers to attract native bugs and birds, which the students really embraced.
