Vision

We were able to receive a grant to purchase some snow shoes for the grade 3 classes. We also had community members lend snow shoes to the class as well as other school staff. This gave us an economical and fun activity to do with kids that may not otherwise get the chance to explore their local area. This led to more environmental education as well as closer ties to the environment.

Action

We were able to spend a few days exploring our local area using our snow shoes. We were able to share and relate our experience with other students, staff and community members.
