Vision

Our Action Team attended LSF’s Youth Leadership Forum. We learned about sustainability topics and skills such as composting, indoor gardening, healthier water choices, and identifying plants and animals, which made us interested in pursuing an Action Project about the issues of healthy, waste-free eating. We want to promote sustainability and healthy eating to other students in our classes.

Action

To fix these issues, some actions we could take are to build a plant tower to promote healthy eating in our schools. But first, we’ll need to talk to garden and plant experts as well as our teacher/librarian and learn more about good indoor plants. We hope that by the end of the school year, we will teach other students in our school about healthy eating and sustainable living.
