Vision

Our social justice club decided that climate change is one of the biggest problems we are facing. To combat this problem, our students decided that we needed to plant more trees in our yard.

Action

The students helped complete applications for grants. Trees and nurseries were researched. We brainstormed and priced out other supplies we would need. We planned a couple of days to plant and on the tree planting days, one class at a time, selected their trees, planted it, watered it and named it!

Reflection & Celebration

Classes continue to care for their trees and greet them in their own way. Some members of the social justice club contributed to a final video of the process.
