Vision

Our vision is to have a clean environment and reduce food waste at our school-level.

Action

– We arranged a garbage pick up session around our school, where 40 students participated and picked up ~10 bags of garbage. (Given donuts from a local bakery as a prize for participating).
– We ordered a waste sorter for our cafeteria (compost, recycling and garbage)
– We connected with passionate students who are wanting to do survey and analysis of our community to understand why residential composts aren’t being used.
– We are creating a presentation and posters for composting education and our cafeteria to be used in the fall (e.g. grade level meetings).
