Vision

Our vision for Canada is for people to be informed of and share knowledge about issues in sustainability. We hope for a Canada that takes a proactive approach to living and acting sustainably. This is important to us/our school community because thinking of others and acting considerately is critical to making our world a better place, be it environmentally, socially, and/or economically.

Action

Based on attending the EcoLeague Youth Forum on October 26, 2017, we learned about sustainability topics and skills such as the importance of using reuseable water bottles. To fix this issue, we need to encourage people to bring a reuseable water water bottle when they are on-the-go. Some of the actions we can take to help us transmit this message are talking to our school council, principal, school board, and principal. We want to reinforce that refusing to use plastic water bottles can really help to save our earth! We hope that by the end of the school year, we will see everyone at our school using a reuseable water bottle!
